The control of the energy resources of Iraq represents a
paramount strategic stake for the United States. The economic stake is, him, on the market
of the armament and, especially, on that of the rebuilding. Five large companies divide
right now the largest public market since the end of the Second World war. Behind them,
one finds George Schultz, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.
The President of France, Jacques Chirac ceases repeating
only according to Europeans, « la war is always worst solutions, the report of a
échec ». As raises it the preferred essayist of George W Bush, Robert Kagan, it is
precisely this manner of thinking which determines the fundamental opposition between old
Europe and the néo-conservatives to the capacity in Washington. For the latter, the war

Five big american companies divide this gigantic cake.
Initially, Bechtel Group. This company of the BTP, most important of the United States, is
held since four generations by the Bechtel family. One of its administrators is not other
than George Schultz, the former Secretary of State de Ronald Reagan. It in addition chairs
the Council of orientation of the Committee for the release of Iraq, the lobby pro-war financed by
Lockheed Martin. Alliance Lockheed Martin-Bechtel forecasts a new type of
business : destruction of a
country by a merchant of weapons, then his rebuilding by a betonnor.
Schultz also sits at the direction of Gilead Science, the
giant of the pharmacy whose Donald Rusmfeld was the chairman until his return to the
government. This firm has just obtained important public markets within the framework of
the prevention of the chemical and biological attacks. Indeed, Rumsfeld succeeded in
convincing its public opinion that the mode of Saddam Hussein would still hold some
weapons of massive destruction that it to him had sold itself during the Iran-Iraq war and
that Baghdad would plan to use them against the people states-unien. During last years,
Gilead Science drew most of its benefit from antiviral which it produces to treat the
AIDS. The high price of these treatments not allowing their diffusion in the Third World,
several States tried to manufacture some except licence. They were condemned by OMC. In
1998, the antiviral identical ones

of Rumsfeld and Schultz, Bill Clinton showed the Al-Shifa center to be a cover for the

Iraq is the Halliburton Company. World leader of the oil equipment, this company knows

destruction of the country in the capacity as secretary to the Defense of George H. Bush
(the father). Although officially Cheney resigned of its functions in the private one
during its designation as vice-president of George W Bush (the son), it continues
nevertheless to perceive residual emoluments approaching the annual million
dollars. It is thus in a position ambiguity that it will order from this new destruction
of Iraq which will not fail to bring back new premiums to him.
The other recipients of the destruction of Iraq are The
Fluor Group, Parsons Corporation and The Louis Berger Group ; three companies which
were shown particularly generous with the think tanks of the fundamentalist ones. Under
such conditions, one can wonder about the choice of the targets which will be bombarded by
USA : will it answer only military objectives or also the preparation of the vastest
building site of the monde ?
